Prehistoric Sites of the Southwest

Blackwater Draw Site & Museum– The type site for the Clovis Culture, the actual site of the original discovery and associated museum. Both run by Eastern New Mexico University.

Chronology of Southwestern Archaeology Uses the Pecos Classification of 1927 to classify Southwestern prehistoric cultures.Eldon Pueblo– The Forest Service uses this site for public education and training.
Palatki– A rock art site located outside of Sedona and maintained by the Forest Service.
Three Rivers Petroglyph Site– A BLM rock art site located north of Tularosa, NM.
