Prehistoric Sites of the Southwest

Chronology of Southwestern Archaeology Uses the Pecos Classification of 1927 to classify Southwestern prehistoric cultures.
Eldon Pueblo– The Forest Service uses this site for public education and training.
Palatki– A rock art site located outside of Sedona and maintained by the Forest Service.
Tecolote Pueblo– A Northern New Mexico site being excavated by New Mexico Highlands University.
Three Rivers Petroglyph Site– A BLM rock art site located north of Tularosa, NM.
